Maison Guinot Brut Imperial Limoux 3 yrs cellar time

Tasting Notes

Region: The vineyards entitled to this label are situated within 41 districts in the Aude Valley in south west France. The vines are planted on stony, chalk-rich slopes with southern exposure. The yield is limited, and the harvest is done by hand.

Grapes: Three grape varieties: Mauzac; Chardonnay; and, Chenin. A Blend of several exceptionally fine years.

Aged: Cellar aging, a minimum of 3-4 years before disgorgement.

Qualities: This blend is distinguished by its lightness, richness of fruit flavors and aroma. Both smooth and very dry, with a delicate golden foam, and a striking floral scent, “Impérial Guinot” possesses a mature, full taste. It can be enjoyed as an aperitif or with a dessert. Selected as exceptional by the “Guide Hachette des Vins,” “Bottin Gourmand,” and Parker's Selection.

This golden wine is a true “Crémant” featuring a light and refined effervescence.
