Mont-Ferrant Brut Rosé

Tasting Notes

Type: Brut
Composition: Garnatxa and Monastrell
Alcoholic Content: 12%
Minimum Aging in Cellars: 18 - 24 Months

The elaboration of this product requires a technique different from all other cavas. The first must - used for the future base wine - which is obtained by a brief maceration of the must with skins. This produces an enrichment of aromas which bring to mind ripe berries (strawberries, blackberries and currants)

The pinkish tones provided by the Monastrell grape (slightly reddish like the color of strawberries) are clean, without oxidation and with a persistant white crown. The aroma is elegant, the texture silky and the bouquet harmonious. In the mouth it is perfectly rounded.

It is a cava suitable for aperitifs and rice dishes. It is also good with all kinds of pasta: a spring-like cave perfect for young people.
